Last Day in Thailand

We were able to meet up with a friend from our home church on our last day in Thailand. Rhonda Thorne came to Thailand for a few days and it coincided with our days in Bangkok. We spent the day showing Rhonda some of Bangkok's sites. We took a long-tail boat along a canal to the Grand Palace (which was closed to foreigners for a funeral) so we visited a couple other temples--Luang Pho To and the Reclining Buddha. We rode on the sky-train around town and visited the nicest mall I've ever seen. It has a Lamborghini store, a Maserati store and tons of high end fashion stores. It's fun to look, but we can't afford anything there. It was a fun spending time with Rhonda. We flew out the following day and landed in Dallas about 24 hours later. The following morning we flew to Colorado to spend some time with family and friends and to see my new niece, Talitha.
